This Web Site is to be a service to the community in Keynsham. The Town Centre Manager and the local Churches Together asked for it to include a calendar for local events, which has recently been added. An excellent local weather service is there, and quick access to details of local travel services.

Anyone with Internet access should be able to remember the Site name easily, browse to the Site quickly, and find there a shop, business, church or other organisation to meet their requirements. The information displayed on the Web Site Pages should be more than is available from any other Town Directory. Visitors to the Site will usually be able to send an instant electronic enquiry to that organisation, from its "Contact Us" Web Page.

The shops, businesses, churches and other organisations should be able to display in their Web Pages more than is otherwise possible in standard advertising, including pictures, audio recordings or even video clips! The grouping together of shops, etc., with similar Web Page design, should enable potential "customers" to feel comfortable doing their Internet "searching", while remaining within their own community area. Using the standard Web Page design, they should be able to easily compare similar Web Pages in the Site, and be confident that either they have found what they are looking for, or that it is not available in the Town.
